Hello, my name is Archie Butler and I am a medically retired government employee. I received a 20% rating by the DMA effective 01/14/2025 but the change caused a reversal from the sixth to the 5th edition so the CE stated the doctors needed to change to the 5th edition for lower extremity damage from spine condition. Now with the update as of February 10, 2025 they are going back to the 6th edition. The CE refuses to address what we do now as I await the 20% payment. What is going on???

i have heard thst owcp went from accepting ama 6th edition to the 5th edition but now back to only accepting 6th edition. Which is correct

hi, I just wanted to let you know that everything I know about work comp has been because of you and if you able to, please consider keeping the podcast going. I listen to it while I’m working and since you go into great detail I understand so much now. I also realize how much I’ve been screwed over in the past from mgnt. I’ve lost about 8 months of leave because I didn’t understand the buy back stuff. My injury was in 2015 so I doubt I can get the leave back now. Thank you so much for what you’re doing to help us. Mgnt at the usps is anything but honest. They bully, harass, falsely, steal, and assault us city carriers daily. I’ve been a city carrier for 28.5 years now and I literally have to take it day by day on if I can do the job still.
